Unlike some churches where the altar flowers are provided by the altar guild/church, we only have altar flowers for Sunday services when the arrangements are sponsored by a member or family. Since our service schedule was interrupted by COVID more than two years ago, our altar has been without flowers on many weekends. As we begin a new calendar year, please consider ordering flowers in thanksgiving or memory of a friend or family member. Just like everything else, the cost has increased but our florist works with us to keep the price affordable at $105, which includes tax. You may call Kay at 912.265.0600 to be put on the schedule and the office will take care of ordering. Taking out the weeks during Lent when we do not have flowers, there are 46 opportunities to remember a special person or event with a floral tribute. You may take the flowers following the service or as that they be taken to a shut in.
