Care Opportunities

Episcopal Church Women (ECW)

Audience: Women

Description:

All Episcopalian women are the ECW. As Episcopal Church Women, we are keepers and proclaimers of the Christian faith, bearing the light and hope of Jesus Christ to all.

The purpose of the ECW is to deepen and nurture the spiritual life of church women in the Diocese of Georgia through worshiping God, glorifying Christ and presenting Him to the world and enlisting active participation in ministering to people inside and outside the church.

Daughters of the King (DOK)
“Take up your cross and follow me”.    Mathew 16:24
Daughters of the King is a sisterhood of women who follow Jesus.  Daughters of the King chapters are all over the world.
We, at St. Marks have a wonderful chapter.
Our motto is:
“I am one, but I am one.
I cannot do everything but I can do something,
What I can do, I ought to do.
What I ought to do, by the Grace of God I will do.
Lord, what will you have me to do?

Daughters of the King take a lifelong vow of prayer , service and evangelism… a reaffirmation of promises made at Baptism and Confirmation.
